Multiple owners and/or all collaborators able to add tokens

I'm a collaborator on a project that one of my colleagues is the owner of. I purchased tokens to add to the project, not realising that only the owner could do this (and I'm not sure how I was supposed to know that!). So then I was stuck with tokens I couldn't use that we had spent some of our limited grant funding on, and the answers we got to our requests for assistance were basically variations of "computer says no" - i.e., we couldn't transfer ownership to me without shutting down the (actively recruiting) project (which would mean dozens of participants in the larger project that these tests were part of would miss doing these, and also if we did, any unused tokens in the current owner's account would be wasted anyways); I couldn't transfer tokens to the owners account; we couldn't become co-owners both able to add tokens.

Hi Joshua, thank you for your suggestion!
I think I've now solved your immediate problem with token transfers on the support desk but do email me if you need anything further. I'll duplicate some of the information I've already given you here too for the benefit of anyone else who may be in the same position or have a similar suggestion for the roadmap :).
I appreciate that an additional complexity of not being able to share tokens in this particular instance was that you also couldn't solve the problem by transferring the project owner, which is what we'd normally suggest, because it was impractical at this stage of your participant recruitment.
Rest assured I'll be looking into how we can improve the process both in terms of ensuring transparency ahead of purchasing tokens, but also improving our collaboration and ownership features. Thank you for taking the time to add the information to the roadmap!
I also think your post probably relates to this existing previous post somewhat which has already received a number of votes so I'll consider these suggestions all in one go: https://gorilla.canny.io/features/p/create-a-co-owner-role-for-projects
It's worth mentioning that token transfer and management is a core benefit of being on one of our subscriptions instead of a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) account. It allows tokens to be managed and deployed from one or more users to multiple users' experiments. For small groups of collaborators (< 10) we have Lab subscriptions https://app.gorilla.sc/pricing#lab and for bigger groups of users we have Department subscriptions. Additional tokens can be bought at a discounted rate compared to the PAYG price. So it's definitely worth considering for the future.
Best of luck with your data collection! Do let me know if I can help further in any way.
