Hi Zanete, thank you for your suggestion! Could you give me some more information on why you would want to control the slider value via a separate button? It really helps us to understand the use-cases behind the requests when we're considering the improvements we can make :)

Jade Pickering (Head of Product): Hi Jade, the reason for the need for the functionality lies in the adjustment paradigm we are building - https://doi.org/10.3758/s13414-019-01747-y .
The way we structured it here on Gorilla is:
S1 – An audio file is chosen from the table and played;
S2 – the participant uses the slider (set by default to middle, 0) to adjust the timing of the last sound played in the audio file (i.e. 73);
S3 – branch screen (not seen) to start a new initial sound trial (go to S1) if the conditions are met;
S4 – an adjusted audio file is calculated from S2 and played after which the participant is sent back to S2 for the next adjustment;
S2 – the participant returns to the slider screen to make a new adjustment and there should be a way to reset the slider value back to 0, but instead it is set to what the participant chose when he was here last (in this example, 73).

Daniels Dijevs: Thanks for the additional information, this is really helpful! I'll chat with the Gorilla team and get back to you :)

Hi Daniels Dijevs and Zanete Dijeva! I've chatted internally, and it turns out that this is part of a wider issue to do with screens not resetting when you return to them. This is something that we will be scheduling to resolve in the near future, which should address your needs here!
