Preview task from a given point

I've had to just create new tasks for every step of my whole experiment to avoid this problem. But it's still a total pain in the butt because there's no way to preview from a specific part of a spreadsheet, and every task still needs multiple displays... unless I just make a new Task for every display. That's a pain too.
And when it's time to preview the whole experiment, to see how it works from node to node... choosing which node to start from seems like a basic need.

Hi Sarah! Does the 'Debug' feature in Task Builder 2 help you out with this at all? You can now preview any screen from any row of the spreadsheet instantly.

Hi Jade,
I know I wasn't the original poster but the Debug feature doesn't fully resolve this issue. The Debug feature only works within a single task (e.g., see an example trial of a task) but I believe the desired feature is to be able to preview a certain part of a larger experiment.
For example, let's pretend I have an experiment with 3 tasks. Let's say the first task is irrelevant to what I'm debugging, and I want to make sure something from the second task is passed to the 3rd correctly. To debug this I have to take my entire experiment from the start (i.e., all 3 tasks). What I would like to do is start at task 2 (skipping task 1) and make sure it's passing info to task 3 correctly. This feature would be very helpful.
I hope this was helpful. Thanks so much!
Best,
Joey

Joseph Heffner: Hi Joey! That's definitely helpful, thanks!
I wasn't totally sure if the original post was about previewing a task from part way through the spreadsheet or about previewing a whole experiment from a particular task node so to be on the safe side I've put both options onto the radar for the Gorilla team internally :)
I'll make sure your extra comments are taken into consideration too!

Jade Pickering (Head of Product) Yes. All of that. We should be able to preview from wherever we are in the builder.

This seems like a critical feature for debugging and testing large experiments. Please let us start the preview from any node in the experiment.
